The Dick Hannah Jeep team is committed to supporting those who share this community and its resources with us. From donating raffle vehicles that have raised over $1,000,000 for the Children’s Cancer Association, to donating school supplies to local families in need, to planting a tree for every vehicle we sell, we’re committed in supporting local families, education and the environment.
With an initiative launched by our Green Task Force in 2007, Dick Hannah Dealerships plants a tree for every vehicle sold. Since then, we have planted more than 249,000 trees in the Pacific Northwest. That’s the equivalent of more than 300 football fields full of lush greenery enhancing our environment.
For nearly a decade, Dick Hannah has partnered with the Children’s Cancer Association (CCA) by donating a new car as a raffle prize during their annual Valentine’s Day for CCA fundraising drive. The CCA’s award-winning programs bring joy and hope to seriously ill children and their families. These donated vehicles have raised more than $1,000,000.
Dick Hannah Jeep is proud to be a presenting sponsor of Write From the Start, an annual initiative of the Foundation for Vancouver Public Schools. What started as a school supply drive where we stuffed a school bus with tons of donated supplies is now a campaign for tax-deductible financial donations where supplies will be purchased with monies received.
Dick Hannah Jeep is proud to partner with the Humane Society for Southwest Washington. The team at HSSW supports the animals and families of our community. Each year, HSSW provides thousands of pets with shelter, medical care, behavior support, and a second chance for a happy home.
Each year during the holiday season, Dick Hannah Dealerships’ employees volunteer to be a Salvation Army Bell Ringer. Standing out front of local stores, they help raise funds for the many programs the Salvation Army implements throughout the community to help those in need.
West Columbia Gorge Humane Society, established in 1994, is an independent, 501(c)(3) nonprofit, animal shelter located in Washougal, Washington. The mission of West Columbia Gorge Humane Society is to save the lives of pets and provide resources to keep pets and their people together.
As a part of our ongoing commitment to education, Dick Hannah Dealerships is proud to provide our College Scholarship Program. This scholarship program awards two $1,000 college scholarships per year to eligible students. From tuition to books, the awarded scholarships can be used for that student’s educational needs.
Dick Hannah Jeep’s Initiative for Technical Education at Clark College, or HiTECC for short, prepare technicians for a high-demand, skilled career. The program includes a scholarship opportunity and internship program where students receive on-the-job training in our service department while completing their education at Clark College.
Since the early 1990s, Dick Hannah Dealerships has sponsored on-site blood drives with the American Red Cross. Dick Hannah Dealerships has collected over 826 units of blood. Since each unit saves three lives, more than 2,478 lives have been saved in our community! Dick Hannah employees continue to give generously and make an impact in our community!
